Starting our two debuts we have MÃ¥neskin returning to the countdown after Beggin'. They have their new song SUPERMODEL, and I think I might like this song even more than Beggin'. The lead singer sounds much better in the chorus than in their former hit, and the instruments sounds so much better too. Overall, catchy song. Will it do well? Yes, I think so at the least.

Now here is the better debut! I Ain't Worried by OneRepublic makes its way in the countdown way up at #26. And it deserved it too- because this song is such a bop. The instrumentation in this song is very blended well together, and Ryan Tedder sounds great as always. I really want this to be a hit so badddddd.

Best Debut - OneRepublic - I Ain't Worried

Biggest Fall: Ed Sheeran & Lil Baby - 2step:
Bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Why can't Lil Baby ever have a big radio hit.

Breakouts/OTV/Samples
Steve Lacy - Bad Habit (DEBUT)
Lost Frequencies & Calum Scott - Where Are You Now (DEBUT)
Morgan Wallen - Wasted On You (DEBUT)
Ellie Goulding & Big Sean - Easy Lover (DEBUT)
Yung Gravy - Betty (Get Money) (DEBUT)

Ugh, we start with a bad breakout this week. It is from none other than newcomer and new TikTok artist Steve Lacy with his song Bad Habit. And you could probably tell by the color coding that I don't like this song. Steve Lacy sounds a lot like Tai Verdes or the guy from Surfaces but worse, and he does not fit in the production whatsoever. Also speaking about the production, yeah it doesn't evolve whatsoever, and it is very basic. Also this song is extremely forgettable, I forgot what it sounds like now. And this song is the most Shazam song in the country... why?

Next up, we have more newcomers to the chart (I don't know if they really are newcomers), EDM artist Lost Frequencies teaming up with vocals from Calum Scott to create the worldwide hit, Where Are You Now. I honestly think AT40 picked this song up very late because it has been doing shit on streaming since We Don't Talk About Bruno started to gain streaming back in January, but it's fine. Calum Scott sounds like a mix between Dean Lewis and Lewis Capaldi, and I find both of those artists' accent to be pretty unique, so I find Calum's voice unique. but what really shines the song is Lost Frequencies's production. It really sounds like it is going for a darker-Tiesto vibe, like it's giving me The Business vibes too. I really like how the production builds up here. Also it might peak on my personal chart, regardless if it is overdue. Nice song, I hope this does something here.

Okay AT40, you shouldn't have copied Hits1 on picking up this shit. And yes, the reason why I gave this song, Wasted On You by Morgan Wallen, the K-Pop ranking because it sucks almost as those songs do. Seriously, this song shouldn't even be here. But thanks to MEDIAB-ASS for servicing this song everywhere, here it is now. And guess what? Everything about this song sucks. Alright, I will be saving more of this for later posts, but this is what you get now. Okay, time to move on to the latter two songs, both of which are on my personal countdown.

So the first of these two songs is a return of two 2010s artists, Easy Lover by Ellie Goulding and Big Sean. And yet, this song is a banger. It is really nice to see Ellie and Sean back at their full potential, and this song just proves it. Ellie sounds great here, with the chorus being the best part of her voice. but Big Sean just takes his verse to outer space. He sounds very good here, and he fits in very well, and he adds surprisingly a lot to the song, just like Polo G added a lot to Better Days. Now, time for the best debut.

The best debut comes from Yung Gravy, who actually had a song called oops! from last year (do you remember that song?) I completely forgot what it sounds like, but now we have this song from him and holy crap, this song is so much better. Mainly because of the sample used throughout the song. And yes, this song surprisingly samples Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley, meaning I will get Rickrolled every time I hear this song on the radio... Woohoo! Yung Gravy sounds great here, and fits in with the vibe here. Plus, he sounds a lot like bbno$. The production here is just so catchy, I really hum to it. I really like the ladies' opera in the second verse, it just fits in the vibe well, and I think the song wouldn't even be complete without it. Great job Yung Gravy, for bringing Rickroll back to the world. Now I am going to get a lot of Rickrolls.

Best Breakout: Yung Gravy - Betty (Get Money)

#1 Recommendation for AT40: blackbear & The Used - toxic energy

#1 Most Missed Song: Eagles - Hotel California

Extras:
Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa - One Kiss
Jonas Brothers - Sucker
Jason Derulo - Want To Want Me

Ellie Goulding, Diplo & Swae Lee - Close To Me
Flo Rida - Right Round
Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still
Ava Max - Maybe You're The Problem
Rihanna - Disturbia

One Kiss was an amazing song, and Sucker was too. Want To Want Me is actually my most missed song currently, wow AT40. Close To Me was a good throwback, and so was Right Round. Feel It Still falls into that category. Maybe You're The Problem shouldn't have flopped. and I forgot what Disturbia sounds like.

Requests:
Harry Styles - Adore You #antiHarryStyles
Post Malone - Better Now
Maroon 5 - One More Night
Ariana Grande - thank u, next

WHO REQUESTED ADORE YOU??????????????? I already gave a review for Better Now on my previous post, One More Night was a throwback, and thank u, next I have heard at the mall recently. Wow.

I Ain't Blurbing Bout It

We lost Bam Bam and FINALLY Need To Know this week. I am pleased by the former's run here, but why did Need To Know have to leave THIS WEEK OUT OF ALL WEEKS. "Oh, let's keep Need To Know on here for a very long time, and let's make abcdefu flop because that's what everyone wants" Bruhhhhhhhh.

Can't Stop Us Now got a pretty good head start to the countdown.

Ugh, Vegas jumped seven spots. PLEASE don't make this a hit. Now it's popular in the blogging community, and now I am pissed even more.

WHY IS Woman falling SO SLOWLY???

Can we PLEASE make DON'T YOU WORRY jump? It has to hit #1 and if it doesn't, well so HELP me.

Speaking of songs that should go away soon, Out Of Time now falls into that category. It is so boring now.

Numb got a big jump!!! Let's goooo!!!

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ⛪is #17.

Another song in that category is Sweetest Pie. That should go away too, fake imitation of Doja Cat.

And yet another is So Good. Why is this here again? Look, I don't even mind Love Me More at #14 anymore.

Big Energy is getting a little annoying now.

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I Like You is #9.

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy 🧓is #8.

Ugh, there goes Numb Little Bug

Hate Night Toppling is #3 and Ass It Was is #2. About Damn Time should hold on to #1 until both songs flop.

And that is it!! See you all in the next one. DO MY RANKDOWN. THERE IS ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT. I am looking at you all. (Bubby, Daniel, Dom, Hunter, Trey, Waffle)
